Awarded the President’s Bronze Medal at the NDA, he is a distinguishedveteran Sapper who has served as Chief Engineer of an active Corps and heldkey appointments including Deputy Director General (Design) at the Engineer-in-Chief Branch, IHQ of MoD (Army), New Delhi, and AssistantCommand Chief Engineer. A highly qualified officer, he completed theprestigious Group Testing Officers Course, Staff Course at DSSC Wellington,and Higher Air Command Course at CAW Secunderabad. He holds an MTech (Civil) from IIT Delhi-where he received the Dogra Medal and NBCC Award forExcellence-and an MPhil in Defence & Strategic Studies from OsmaniaUniversity. In his final tenure, he served as Directing Staff at the Army WarCollege, mentoring senior officers and supervising MPhil programs in collaboration with Panjab University. He is also a recipient of COAS, VCOAS,and Army Commander’s Commendation Cards.
